Artist Duwenavue Sante Johnson discusses the design and symbolism of flags in conjunction with Bandeira by Fabio Morais.
Duwenavue Sante Johnson is a professional embroiderer specializing in heraldry symbolism in flags and banners. She earned certifications from the Royal School of Needlework, UK and the University of Creative Arts, Fashion & Textiles, UK and a diploma from Ecole Lesage, Paris France. She has studied textile and heraldry in Toledo, Spain and Stockholm, Sweden.
