The Contemporary Jewish Museum is a non-collecting institution, and has no permanent holdings of art, objects, or ephemera. For this reason we do not accept donations of objects, nor are we equipped to appraise or identify works of art. If you are looking to donate Jewish art or objects to an institution for preservation we encourage you to be in touch with museums and Jewish institutions with permanent collections or city, county, or university libraries.
Auction houses and certified private appraisers are the best resources for identifying and valuing works of art.
Thank you for your interest in The CJM. Currently we are not accepting artwork submissions or exhibition proposals.
The Contemporary Jewish Museum donates guest passes (redeemable for tickets) for nonprofit fundraising events. To request a donation, please send your request via email or postal mail at least two months prior to the event date. Include the organization’s name, address, telephone number, contact information, and date of your event.
We sincerely appreciate your asking us to be a part of your community, but due to the high volume of requests, we kindly ask that you do not call. No duplicate requests, please.
