On first and second Sundays and select holidays, drop on by to create, play, and experiment with a teaching artist. All ages are invited for fun with unexpected techniques and materials. Select workshops with guest artists, unique equipment and tools, and more!
Inspired by the exhibition The Art of Rube Goldberg, help transform the art studio into a series of chain reaction machines built out of everyday objects used in new and surprising ways. Project created in collaboration with the Wonderful Idea Company.

The Art of Rube Goldberg was conceived by Creighton Michael; developed in cooperation with Heirs of Rube Goldberg, LLC, New York, New York; and curated by Max Weintraub. The tour was organized by International Arts & Artists, Washington, DC. The Contemporary Jewish Museum of San Francisco’s presentation is presented on occasion of The CJM’s Tenth Anniversary in its Daniel Libeskind-designed building.
