Eddie Muller on the Art and Legacy of Crime Photographer Weegee

Noir Czar and founder of the SF Noir Film Festival Eddie Muller investigates the life, work, and legacy of the crime photographer Weegee. Originally a member of the Photo League, Weegee became notorious as the most dramatic of photojournalists because he approached his crimes scenes as art. Using examples of Weegee's photography and audio of interviews with the man himself, Muller will illustrate how "Weegee is born where art and commerce collide."
