Gloria Maciejewski

Gloria Maciejewski has worked in San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) since 1997 in a variety of roles, from paraprofessional to classroom teacher. Her time as a classroom teacher was split between an arts magnet school (John Swett Alternative, now closed) and a science magnet school, Spring Valley Science School. Maciejewski has taken bookmaking classes at City College as well as many workshops with the SFUSD library department and Visual and Performing Arts department. Her favorite children's author is, in fact, Ezra Jack Keats, and she currently serves as a teacher-librarian at the San Francisco Public Montessori school.

About the Ezra Jack Keats Bookmaking Project

The Contemporary Jewish Museum (The CJM), the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation (EJK Foundation), the San Francisco Public Library (SFPL), and the SFUSD are pleased to present the ninth annual Ezra Jack Keats Bookmaking Project. This year, instead of physically collecting and awarding books, we’ll share and celebrate the books together in new ways. All types of books, including digital, are welcome! Learn more about the project and how to participate below.
