Artist Lisa Kokin on “Inventory”

In this Google Chat interview, artist Lisa Kokin discusses her work, Inventory, featured in the exhibition, From Generation to Generation: Inherited Memory and Contemporary Art, on view Nov 25, 2016–Apr 2, 2017 at The Contemporary Jewish Museum.

The exhibition features the works of twenty-four international artists who grapple with memories that are not their own, and question the representation of truths related to ancestral and collective memory—ultimately attempting to deal with their own past.
