Artist Guy Goldstein on “Eid ist Eid (An Oath is an Oath)”

In this Google Chat interview, artist Guy Goldstein discusses his work, Eid ist Eid (An Oath is an Oath), featured in the exhibition, From Generation to Generation: Inherited Memory and Contemporary Art, on view Nov 25, 2016–Apr 2, 2017 at The Contemporary Jewish Museum.

The exhibition features the works of twenty-four international artists who grapple with memories that are not their own, and question the representation of truths related to ancestral and collective memory—ultimately attempting to deal with their own past.

Featured Artwork: Guy Goldstein, Eid ist Eid (An Oath is an Oath), 2008. Sound  and embroidered tapestry on loudspeaker. Private collection, Tel-Aviv.
